Gvitech Technologies Group is a leading technology development and service organization in the 3D Geographic Information System (3D GIS) and Digital Media & Display fields. It consists of three major institutions: Gvitech Technologies Co., Ltd. (GDC), Gvitech Digital Display Technology Co., Ltd. (GDD), and the Digital City Research Center (DCRC) of the Tsinghua Institute of Urban Planning, with a registered capital of over 70 million yuan and more than 500 employees.

Since its founding in 2002, Gvitech has been dedicated to the research and development of 3D visualization technology, 3D GIS, digital media and display, high-performance graphics computing, and large-screen professional display technology. It is one of the very few professional organizations in the industry capable of providing overall solutions encompassing software, hardware, peripheral products, and related services. The company was the first in China to launch 3D GIS software for urban management, 3D design software for urban planning, super graphics computing cluster systems, and multi-channel large-screen projection systems, and was the first in China's display field to introduce multi-channel curved-screen solutions. Gvitech's technologies have obtained more than 30 software copyrights, over 40 trademark rights, and 3 patents, and have been widely applied in hundreds of major projects and institutions across China, Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America, covering fields such as urban planning, digital tourism, municipal management, architecture, museums, science and technology museums, and research institutes and universities. The company is currently undertaking projects under the National 11th Five-Year Plan Science and Technology Support Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has received support from the Innovation Fund of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Gvitech is headquartered in Beijing, with offices in Shanghai, Chongqing, Macau, Singapore, and other locations. It has the largest R&D center in the industry at Zhongguancun, Beijing, and its Digital City Research Center is located at Tsinghua University.
