大邑县妇幼保健院始建于1952年，经过60余年的发展，目前是一所集妇女儿童急救、医疗、预防、保健、康复、培训、科研为一体的妇幼保健机构，为大邑县产科急救点、大邑县儿科急救点之一。1994年9月被授予*“爱婴医院”称号；于2012年评定为二级甲等妇幼保健院；2015年评定为三级乙等妇幼保健院；2019年通过三级乙等妇幼保健院复审。
医院现占地面积30亩，建筑面积25555平方米，保健楼正进行内装，即将投入使用，编制床位170张，开放床位172张，现有在岗职工299人，其中卫技人员254人（占全院职工84.95%），高级职称16人，中级职称73人，初级职称158人。
