辽中县育才小学是教育局直接领导下的一所全日寄宿制的完全私立小学。1996年建校。学校占地面积叁万平方米，建筑面积8500平方米，办学条件全省一流。学校现有二十八个教学班，一个学前班，在校师生近一千二百人，2001年6月通过国家、省、市教育专家小组综合检查验收，被评为首批“AAA民办小学（全省仅两家）。连续多年被省教育局评为“教学管理先进单位”、“德育示范校”、“体育卫生先进单位”、被市政府评为“花园式学校”、被市教育局确定为双语教学实验学校、经市县交警验收被评为市级交通安全学校。
