Baile Park is invested and constructed by Hunan Baile Culture Investment Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 5 billion yuan and a first-phase investment of 1 billion yuan. Baile Park started construction on May 15, 2012. After more than two years of construction, it is about to open and welcome guests.
Baile Park is a comprehensive amusement park in Hunan Province. It is located in Qiaokou Town, Wangcheng District, Changsha City. From Yuelu Avenue in front of the Changsha Municipal Government, turn onto Leifeng Avenue and go straight north for 39 kilometers to arrive. The Wangcheng exit of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway duplicate line is only 10 kilometers from Baile Park; it is only 7 kilometers from Jinggang Ancient Town, making transportation extremely convenient.
The total planned area of Baile Park is more than 4,000 mu, with a first-phase development area of 600 mu. The first-phase project has six major theme parks. The first is the land mechanical amusement park: Ferris wheel, high-altitude flight, giant pendulum, splash mountain, luxury wave, sliding dragon, pirate ship, whirlwind knight, shark island battle, disco turntable, cannonball speed car, extreme windmill, ball bubble battle city, Ferris wheel ring car, luxury carousel, family roller coaster, high-altitude pedal car, bumper car, spinning cup, mermaid, flying turtle and more than 20 attractions. The second is the water amusement park: more than 100 various boats such as bumper boats, barbecue boats, water classic cars, yachts, painted pleasure boats, water bicycles, and water tricycles. The third is the modern zoo: two animal performance venues that can accommodate more than 3,000 spectators each (the beast theater: performances by large beasts such as white tigers, African lions, and Malayan black bears; the pet theater: performances by farm animals such as cockfighting, sheep fighting, dog fighting, small wild boar diving, and duck racing), with hundreds of species of animals: alpacas, zebras, wildebeests, mandrills, and so on. The fourth is the interactive experience park: Crocodile Island - hundreds of ferocious Siamese crocodiles await tourists to feed them by boat; Giant Salamander Hall - use a flashlight to admire the largest existing amphibian whose sound resembles a baby's cry; Dongting Fish Corridor - strange and colorful aquatic spirits; China Turtle Valley - there are large turtles weighing more than 300 jin, as well as nearly 100 species of various water turtles, land turtles, and semi-aquatic turtles; there are also: feeding fish with milk, viewing fish at Red Bridge, release platform, dream fish-catching city; and even more: Love Island, Yue Lao Temple, dynamic 4D dome screen theater, arcade city, children's naughty castle and many other novel and exciting amusement projects. The fifth is the scenic spots and historical sites park: the thousand-year-old ancient town has a longevity-character memorial archway inheriting a century-old longevity culture, the Wanshou Palace built in the Qing Dynasty, the Sanxian Temple built in the Southern Song Dynasty, the Qiaojiang Academy whose plaque was imperially bestowed and which was funded by a Yuan Dynasty emperor, the ancient Qing Dynasty business firm Liufutai Hang, and the Dufu Wharf where the poet sage Du Fu lingered. The sixth is the leisure and vacation park: an ecological hotel with more than 500 beds, a hotel that can accommodate 1,200 people dining at the same time, and also a 366-meter-long commercial pedestrian street and a four-story circular global food plaza, with shopping, food, karaoke, foot bath, fish therapy, bars, cafes, and teahouses, everything available.
From Changsha South High-speed Railway Station, take the express bus; from the West Bus Station, take bus No. 918; from Hunan Normal University Taozihu Road (via Yingwanzhen), take bus No. 903 to Wangcheng Bus Station, then transfer to bus W101 directly to (Qiaokou Fishing City) Baile Park.
