新疆危险废物处置中心，位于乌鲁木齐市西山路164号。处置设施建设项目是《全国危险废物和医疗废物处置设施建设规划》内的55个省级危险废物集中处置设施建设项目之一。是国家发改委核准的*批规划内国债投资项目，也是自治区重点国债项目之一。该项目于2006年4月开工建设，总投资概算12730万元。项目于2008年7月主体全部建成，2010年8月安全填埋场基本建成，基本形成了年处置危险废物32500吨的能力，其中，综合利用1060吨、物化处理1450吨、焚烧处理4285吨、固化/稳定化处理9181吨、安全填埋34773吨、储存50吨。主要收集、处置工业危险废物和废弃危险化学品，如废酸、废有机溶剂、废矿物油、精馏残渣、含镍废物等。
