II. Company Development
In 2010, the company began R&D on FOTA wireless upgrades, which took 2 years and cost over ten million yuan. Through rich experience accumulated in security, optimization, design, and planning of cloud-based upgrade services, and using cloud computing technology to effectively integrate cluster applications, grid technology, and distributed server ends, it successfully launched FOTA cloud wireless upgrade services in 2012. It has now been admitted to the Shanghai Pudong Software Park Incubator Base and has received recognition and support from the Shanghai municipal government.
Founded in 2012, the founding team came from internet and communication giants such as Nanjing Mobilesoft, Sina, Longcheer, and Simton.
March 2012: Guangsheng FOTA version 1.0 released.
August 2012: Guangsheng FOTA fully adapted to Qualcomm, MTK, and Spreadtrum three mainstream chip platforms, with pre-installed users reaching 3 million.
December 2012: Pre-installed users exceeded 10 million, with more than 100 cooperating solution companies and mobile phone brands.
May 2013: Guangsheng FOTA became a standard feature on MTK and Spreadtrum chip platforms, completed Series A financing, and user numbers exceeded 50 million.
December 2013: Cooperating clients covered leading domestic solution providers and brands, adapted to all chip platforms, and user numbers exceeded 100 million.
June 2014: Completed Series B financing, with company market value exceeding 200 million USD.
August 2014: Cooperating clients exceeded 300, including Tianyu, Haier, Hisense, Doov, ZTE, Konka, etc., market share exceeded 80%, user numbers approached 200 million, and upgrade servers were distributed worldwide.
May 2015: Established an office in India; cooperating clients exceeded 1,000 and users exceeded 250 million.
February 2016: Successfully listed on the New Third Board, becoming the first stock for system upgrades.
