茅桥镇中心卫生院是一所预防、保健、医疗急救为一体的综合性非营利性全民所有制卫生事业单位，2004年批准为一级甲等医院；占地面积6800M2，医疗用房4500M2，服务于茅桥周边3县10余乡，服务半径20公里。现医院在职在编34人，自聘29人；各级各类卫生技术人员53名，副主任医师1名，主治医师各3名，主管护师2名，医师共17名，护师7名，护士8人，医士3名，药剂士2名，工勤人员4名。年门诊7万余人次，住院3万余人次。医院设置：中医科、西医内科、外科、妇产科、儿科、医学影像、医学检验、口腔科、骨伤科、公共卫生站等,核定床位60张，实际开放100张，设观察病床5张
