杭州大观山种猪育种有限公司现有各类猪舍建筑面积30000平方米，建有各类猪舍39幢、年产1万吨饲料厂1座、实验室、种猪性能测定站及其他配套设施。农场饲养、培育长白猪已有近50年历史，是农业部确定的首批*重点种畜禽场，浙江省种猪原种基地，农业部农垦现代化养殖示范场。目前拥有基础公母猪1500头，其中长白基础公母猪700头、大白基础公母猪600头、杜洛克基础公母猪200头，年可生产供应纯种猪18000头。所产种猪销往全国各地，是国内推广长白种猪的主要生产基地。产品已通过无公害产品认定，曾多次获得部、省、市的优良种畜推广奖。从1967年开始，累计向全国（除台湾省外）推广长白种猪27余万头。
