Akeso Biomedical (HKEX stock code: 9926.HK) is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the research, development, production, and commercialization of innovative antibody drugs affordable to patients worldwide.

Since its establishment, the company has built an integrated R&D innovation system centered on an end-to-end comprehensive drug development platform (ACE Platform) and bispecific antibody development technology (Tetrabody), a GMP production system meeting international standards, and an advanced commercialization system with sophisticated operational models.

The company currently possesses over 30 innovative drug candidates for the treatment of major diseases such as oncology, autoimmunity, inflammation, and metabolic disorders, among which 17 new drugs have entered clinical research, 14 pivotal/Phase III clinical trials are underway, and 3 new drugs have achieved commercial sales (including 1 out-licensed).

In December 2022, another independently developed global bispecific antibody, Evoxi (PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibody, AK112), was granted development and commercialization rights to Summit Therapeutics in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan, under a collaboration agreement featuring an upfront payment of USD 500 million, a total transaction value of up to USD 5 billion, and a low double-digit percentage royalty on net sales.
