公司以技术创新和人才工程为企业发展动力，非常重视专业技术人才队伍建设，重视产学研的创新模式，与中国地质大学、湖北大学、湖北工程学院等多所院校开展了多层面合作方式，致力于发展成为集科技型、创新型、信息化和知识产权为一体的企业，近两年已申报了专利15项，省级成果鉴定2个，并通过技术创新推动了企业的发展。2013年与中国地质大学（武汉）建立了湖北省医用包装材料工程技术研究中心。
