绿塘煤矿位于贵州省西北部的大方县境内，井田勘探面积84.88平方公里，地质储量6.6亿吨，可采储量1.5亿吨；矿井地处喀斯特地形地貌、断层、褶曲、溶洞、岩溶陷落柱特别发育，地表处于山体滑坡地段，表土层厚度平均25米左右；一期设计60万吨／年，二期达到180万吨／年，矿井设计服务年限62.7年；公司注册资金16000万元；井田内有3层主采煤层分别是6中、16、33，首采煤层为6中，可采煤层厚度分别平均为2.8米、1.75米和1.5米；矿井采用抽出式通风，中央并列通风方式，主副平硐进风，回风斜井回风，平硐开拓，走向长壁采煤方法，目前为薄煤层综采机组采煤,煤炭外运以汽车运输为主。矿曾荣获枣矿集团先进集体和山东能源外部开发先进单位等荣誉称号。
