Chongqing Contemporary Finance Institute (CCFI) is an independent financial research and training institution approved by the government, integrating industry, academia, and research. The Institute relies on the academic research strength of the International Society of Financial Professionals (ISOFP), the China Financial Education Development Foundation, the China Financial Training Center of the People's Bank of China, the Central University of Finance and Economics, and other institutions, integrating domestic and international high-end financial academic resources, and is committed to building itself into a financial private think tank with core influence in western China, a financial project research and development platform, and a highland for cultivating financial professionals.

Guided by promoting financial development and economic construction in the western region, the Institute, through the annual Liangjiang International Finance Forum, masters' lectures, academic seminars, topic research, financial salon activities, the professional magazine Finance and Investment, and other forms, carries out a series of project cooperation with various financial institutions, conducts practical talent training and recruitment, financial theory research and applied topic research, promotion and transformation of financial research results, popularization and training of financial and tax knowledge, financial information consulting and project planning, enterprise management and human development planning, and other forward-looking and decision-guiding comprehensive financial services.
Since its establishment, the Institute has cultivated a large number of compound high-end talents for the economic construction of western China who not only master systematic theories of economics and finance but also possess the ability to solve practical problems in the economic and financial fields. At the same time, on the basis of comprehensive and in-depth research on the economic construction and financial development of the western region, especially Chongqing, the Institute compiles and publishes the Chongqing Financial Development Report annually. This report systematically analyzes and studies the academic research and related situations of financial construction in Chongqing. Its comprehensiveness, systematicness, forward-lookingness, innovativeness, and practicality are widely recognized and referenced by domestic and foreign governments, enterprises and institutions, and social organizations, greatly promoting the pace of regional economic development and financial construction, and playing a think-tank role for China's regional economic construction.
