About the Company

I. Basic Information of Feiyang Ice Sports Center
Shanghai Feiyang Ice Sports Center is one of the few professional venues in China that operates year-round and all-weather ice sports. The center is responsible for public access, training of youth reserve talents, hosting ice sports events, promoting ice sports, and fostering industry development.
The center officially opened in June 2013. For the past five years, the Shanghai Feiyang Ice Sports Club, founded by IOC member and Winter Olympic champion Yang Yang, has been responsible for daily operations and management.
II. Main Practices and Achievements of Feiyang Ice Sports Center's Operations and Management
(1) Actively cultivating reserve talents for ice sports in Shanghai
First, we organized men's and women's ice hockey teams and men's and women's short track speed skating teams to represent Shanghai in the 13th National Winter Games in 2016. They achieved excellent results: fourth place nationally in women's ice hockey and sixth place nationally in men's ice hockey.
Second, we supplied reserve talents to the national team. Shen Shangyan was selected for the Chinese Men's Junior Ice Hockey Team and was received by Chairman Xi; Huang Yan was selected for the 2017 Chinese Women's Junior Ice Hockey Team; Li Kun and Ma Xiaolin were selected for the 2017 National Short Track Speed Skating Junior Team; Liu Yuqing was selected for the National Figure Skating Synchronized Skating Junior Team; Feiyang coach Wang Wei became a coach for the National Short Track Junior Team.
The center was awarded: China Skating Association Reserve Talent Training Base, Shanghai Youth Sports Elite Training Base for Ice Sports.
(2) Actively promoting ice sports
First, we insist on comprehensively carrying out full series of ice sports programs including basic skating, ice hockey, short track speed skating, figure skating, and synchronized skating, filling the gap in Shanghai's ice sports layout.
Second, we actively promote ice sports into schools. A cumulative total of 260,000 student visits from 30 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens have participated in basic skating courses. Among them, Zheng Zhilei, a student ice hockey player at Jianping Middle School, was admitted to the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania based on his ice hockey specialty.
Third, we provide public welfare opening. Over the past five years, we have carried out more than 1,000 public welfare sessions, receiving nearly 600,000 visits for public fitness, training, and spectating activities.
Fourth, we provide free skating training for Pudong Pudu School. Among them, 4 athletes represented China at the 2017 11th World Winter Special Olympics in Austria, achieving a historic best result of one gold medal and three bronze medals.
(3) Building a bridgehead for "North Ice South Expansion"
First, we actively explore new models for ice sports venue operations. In the national sports industry base selection activity organized by the General Administration of Sport, we were awarded: National Sports Industry Demonstration Project. It is the only selected ice sports industry project nationwide.
Second, we have hosted more than 100 domestic and international ice sports events at various levels, such as the Asia League Ice Hockey, Shanghai International Youth Ice Hockey Festival, Shanghai International Youth Short Track Speed Skating Open, Shanghai Primary and Secondary School Students Ice Sports Meet, etc.
Third, we actively carry out international exchanges and cooperation, partnering with international ice sports professional institutions such as the International Skating Union (ISU), NHL Vancouver Canucks, and Los Angeles Kings, to build the most professional youth training system in China.
Over the past five years, leveraging these activities and events, against the backdrop of China's successful bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics, we have actively promoted Shanghai as a frontline for China's ice sports development. CCTV, Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, Liberation Daily, and other media have tracked and reported on the development of ice sports in Shanghai year-round. Last year, the Chinese government website also reported on the center's self-owned IP event—the Shanghai Primary and Secondary School Students Ice Sports Meet, which has been held for four consecutive years.
