The C-Mer International Eye Care Group was founded in Hong Kong in 2012 by international * ophthalmologist Professor Dennis Lam. As a Hong Kong-funded eye care service provider, C-Mer Eye provides comprehensive eye care services in line with international medical standards, including nine subspecialties: Cataract, Laser Vision Correction, Vitreoretinal, Vitreoretinal, Glaucoma, Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology, Orbital and Oculoplastic, Medical Optometry and Eyewear, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Ophthalmology. Three international special needs clinics: Pediatric Cataract Special Needs Clinic, Pediatric Albinism Special Needs Clinic, and Marfan Syndrome Special Needs Clinic.
Dr. Dennis Lam has always pursued bringing international-standard eye care and Hong Kong's medical ethics and conduct to the mainland to serve more patients. Therefore, C-Mer Eye has formulated relevant standards in strict accordance with Dr. Dennis Lam's standards in terms of doctor training, talent recruitment, service management and other system building.
The C-Mer Eye medical team comes from the mainland, Hong Kong and many countries around the world. At the same time, it has formed an advisory board with 18 ophthalmologists worldwide, 10 of whom have been selected among the 100 most influential figures in world ophthalmology, creating an international-level "difficult eye disease center".

With the development strategy of "relying on Hong Kong, basing itself in Shenzhen, and radiating to the Greater Bay Area, Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country" as its core goal, C-Mer Eye currently has 28 eye medical institutions in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Zhuhai, Huizhou, Guangzhou (opening soon), Fuzhou (opening soon), Foshan (opening soon), Dongguan (opening soon), Jieyang (opening soon) and other places. C-Mer Eye is a Hong Kong-funded eye medical brand established in the mainland in accordance with CEPA policy, pioneering medical cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong.
Honors and Qualifications
C-Mer Eye was founded by Dr. Dennis Lam, a deputy to the National People's Congress and one of the world's top 100 figures in ophthalmology (ranked 18th in 2018). Dr. Dennis Lam has published more than 800 SCI articles, with an h-Index of 77. He has received the "Golden Apple Award" (Asia-Pacific * Best Ophthalmology Clinical Professor Award) from the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), the APAO "Jose Rizal Medal" (Asia-Pacific Ophthalmology Outstanding Achievement Award), and the APAO "De Ocampo Lecture" (Asia-Pacific Ophthalmology Highest Academic Achievement Award), among others.
In December 2019, C-Mer Eye was approved as Shenzhen's first social internet hospital.
In December 2020, C-Mer Eye was listed among the 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Biomedical Technology Innovation Enterprises Top 50 and won the "* Enterprise Award".
In December 2020, C-Mer Eye and Wenzhou Medical University jointly established the "Wenzhou Medical University School of Optometry and Ophthalmology · C-Mer International Eye Academy".
In February 2021, it was awarded the 2020 Public Welfare Driving Force Award, and Mr. Dennis Lam, founder of C-Mer Eye, received the 2020 Public Welfare Person of the Year Award.
In May 2021, C-Mer Eye won the "2020 Health 160 Platform Preferred Brand".
In June 2021, C-Mer Eye received the "Hong Kong" awarded by the Hong Kong Brand Development Council and the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong
