Ping An Technology was established in 2008 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ping An Group. Headquartered in Shenzhen, it has branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Nanjing, and currently employs more than 4,000 professional IT technicians and IT management experts.
As the high-tech core of Ping An Group, Ping An Technology is responsible for developing and operating the Group's key platforms and services, supporting the efficient development of the Group's insurance, banking, investment, and internet businesses. Ping An Technology is also the Group's technology incubator, with strong research and development capabilities in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data.

Collaborated with Shenzhen Airport to create new facial recognition security scenarios
Ping An WIFI received 550 million yuan in investment from Guangqi Group, incubating a new company, Ping An Xunke.
Incubated Ping An Healthcare Management Co., Ltd., achieving a closed-loop layout in Ping An's health and medical sector.

2016
Selected as one of the top 100 enterprises in China's software and information technology service comprehensive competitiveness.
Facial recognition technology reached a leading position, with cooperation initiated with Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway and the Housing Management Bureau.
Produced the first paper VAT invoice and electronic invoice in the financial industry.

2015
Incubated Qianhai Credit Reporting, one of the first to obtain personal credit reporting qualifications, covering the entire credit process, becoming the market's first full-process, end-to-end product + service credit reporting product suite.
Ping An WIFI was publicly launched, becoming the first unconditional, zero-threshold free internet access APP nationwide.
Facial recognition was applied to multiple businesses such as Ping An remote account opening.

2014
Big data broke through traditional financial models to acquire external user data at scale, while integrating internal Group data to support precision marketing and risk control.

2013
The launch of "Ping An Tianxiatong" mobile social financial portal marked Ping An's official entry into the mobile internet finance era. It obtained "National Key Software Enterprise" and "National High-tech Enterprise" qualifications, receiving the highest honors in the technology industry.

Launched the remote financial service all-in-one machine, achieving all-weather, uninterrupted, and regionally undifferentiated comprehensive financial services.

Ping An Technology was established: Ping An Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was officially founded, and Ping An IT began corporate operations.
Established an innovation research institute to proactively develop IT innovative applications in the financial field.
Completed the definition of IT service catalog and established cost models and pricing.
