Shenzhen Metro

Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Group), established on July 31, 1998, is a large wholly state-owned enterprise directly managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shenzhen Municipality. Adhering to the corporate spirit of "Virtue Carries Transport, Shenzhen Metro Serves the People" and the corporate mission of "Operating the Metro, Serving the City", the Group has established an industrial layout of "Three Rails in One" integrating national railways, intercity railways, and urban rail transit, and a core value chain of "Four in One" covering rail construction, rail operation, station-city development, and resource management, striving to build an open, innovative, and inclusive "Rail +" ecosystem.

The Group is currently responsible for the operation of 15 metro lines in Shenzhen, totaling 546.3 kilometers. The total mileage of the "Three Rails" under construction is 598.7 kilometers. The Group actively exports diversified services such as operation, comprehensive commissioning, maintenance, and consulting, with its business covering approximately 524.98 kilometers of lines both domestically and internationally (excluding Shenzhen).

The Group actively practices the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) model, feeding the construction and operation of rail transit with the value-added benefits of properties above and along metro lines. The "Rail + Property" model is increasingly deeply integrated with the city, and "station-city integration" projects represented by hubs are gradually becoming core products. The Group has built a product system covering office buildings, commercial spaces, hotels, advertising, and media.

The Group actively fulfills its social responsibilities. Since 2010, it has provided approximately 462 million person-trips of free passenger services to the elderly, disabled, and other passengers. The Metro Volunteer Federation has provided volunteer services exceeding 6.995 million hours, and 25,100 units of affordable housing have been completed and handed over.

It has successively won honors such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award, the China Construction Engineering Luban Prize, the National Quality Engineering Gold Award, the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, and the International Tunneling Association (ITA) Underground Space Innovation Contribution Award.

In the future, the Group will fully practice the concept of "pioneering demonstration", firmly shoulder the development mission of "transportation pioneer", accelerate the construction of the "Greater Bay Area on Rails", and build a world-leading rail transit enterprise with first-class facilities, technology, management, service, and benefits, and sustainable development, strongly supporting the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Shenzhen metropolitan area.
