Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. (abbreviated as "Ping An") was born in Shekou, Shenzhen in 1988, and has now developed into an integrated, close-knit and diversified comprehensive financial services group integrating insurance, banking, investment and other financial businesses. The company is listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with stock codes 2318 and 601318 respectively.
Ping An Financial Services, full name Shenzhen Ping An Comprehensive Financial Services Co., Ltd., was established in 2016 through the integration of Ping An Data Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Ping An Direct Consulting Co., Ltd., both under the Ping An Group. It is an important platform subsidiary of the Ping An Group. In 2003, the prototype of Ping An Data Technology, the Ping An Group Back-Office Management Center, was established.
