Wuhan Tianji Ecological Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 with a registered capital of 50.18 million yuan and covers an area of 24,656 square meters. It is located in the Golden Industrial Park, Jiangxia District, Wuhan City. The "Wuchang District Food Waste BOO Project" invested, constructed, and operated by the company was a "Major Construction Project of Wuhan City" in 2014 and is also a project undertaken as part of the first batch of pilot cities nationwide for the resource utilization and harmless disposal of food waste. The total investment of the Wuchang District, Wuhan City food waste disposal plant project is 216 million yuan. The designed treatment capacity of Phase I is 200 tons/day of food waste. Phase I of the project passed acceptance by the Wuhan Urban Management Committee in November 2016 and was officially put into operation. The project adopts the process of "pretreatment + wet anaerobic fermentation + biogas purification + power generation and grid connection," integrating South Korean sorting technology, German high-efficiency anaerobic technology, Dutch wastewater treatment technology, and technologies developed by the company to achieve full resource utilization of food waste. At present, Phase I of the company is operating stably, with excellent production indicators. The Phase II 500 tons/day project of the Wuchang District, Wuhan City food waste disposal plant will begin construction in the first quarter of next year, and it is expected that Phase II with 500 tons/day of food waste will be completed and put into operation by the end of next year.
