Taishan Fiberglass Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Taishan Fiberglass" or "the Company") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: Sinoma Science & Technology, stock code: 002080), which is under the China National Building Material Group. In 1997, the Company built China's first 10,000-ton E-glass fiber tank furnace drawing production line. Currently, the Company's total production capacity of fiberglass products exceeds 900,000 tons per year, with more than 8,500 employees and a total land area of approximately 2,400 mu. It is one of the world's top five and China's top three fiberglass manufacturers.
Taishan Fiberglass's leading products include E-glass fiber roving, mat, fabric, chopped strand, multi-axial fabric, electronic yarn and fabric, and alkali-resistant fiber, covering seven major categories, 59 varieties, and over 1,300 specifications. These products are widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, automobile manufacturing, marine, wind power, and many other fields.
Taishan Fiberglass possesses internationally advanced proprietary core technologies in the design of large E-glass fiber tank furnaces, pure oxygen combustion technology for furnaces, and special bushing design. The Company has national-level enterprise technology center, provincial key laboratory, post-doctoral scientific research workstation, and other R&D institutions. It has passed the certification of quality, environment, occupational health and safety management systems. Its products have obtained type approval from China Classification Society, Det Norske Veritas, and Lloyd's Register of Shipping, as well as Korea KS certification, US FDA certification, and German GL certification. The Company has established overseas companies and institutions, such as CTG North America and South Africa, and has built long-term and stable cooperative relationships with customers in more than 70 countries and regions including North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
