In 2013, Aier Eye Hospital Group jointly established a professional ophthalmic medical school, the Aier School of Ophthalmology at Central South University, primarily to cultivate advanced ophthalmic talents with master's and doctoral degrees; in 2014, it again jointly established the Aier Eye Optometry College with Hubei University of Science and Technology. In 2011 and 2015, Aier Eye Hospital successively established the 'Aier Eye Optometry Research Institute' and the 'Aier Eye Research Institute'.
