湖南省津市市妇幼保健院建于1986年，坐落在津市市万寿路48号，是一所集妇女儿童医疗、保健、康复、科研、教学于一体的二级医疗保健机构，属公共卫生事业单位，医院内设病床100张，设有妇科、产科、内科、儿科、新生儿科、儿童保健科及妇女保健科等特色科室，拥有进口四维彩超、乳腺钼（数字）等多台（件）检测设备。1994年被卫生部授予“爱婴医院”称号。近年来，多次被卫生局评为“年度考核先进单位”。
