拉萨市设计院是以建筑、市政、公路为主体设计的综合性的设计院,下设建筑、规划、室内装饰、结构、设备、建筑经济、市政设计及工程勘察等专业科室。从事工业、民用建筑设计、城市市政道路及设施、公路设计和工程测量等业务。

1993年由建设主管部门审定为乙级设计院,隶属于拉萨市住建局下属事业单位。
