Chongqing Jianfeng Industrial Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jianfeng Group) was founded in 1966. It was originally a Third-Line nuclear enterprise (formerly State-owned Factory 816, China Nuclear Industry Jianfeng Chemical General Plant). It is now a key enterprise of Chongqing Life Science and New Material Industry Group. It is a large state-owned comprehensive enterprise integrating production, scientific research, and trade, with industry, science, and trade merged and import and export rights. It is located in Baitao Chemical Industrial Park, Fuling District, Chongqing, situated on the golden waterway of the Wujiang Gallery, adjacent to the Chongqing-Huaihua Railway and G50S/G65 Expressways, with Zibai Expressway and National Highway 319 running through its entire territory. Jianfeng Group has an annual production capacity of 750,000 tons of synthetic ammonia/1.32 million tons of urea, 60,000 tons of melamine, 20,000 tons of hexamethylol melamine, 100,000 tons of formaldehyde, 60,000 tons of BDO/46,000 tons of polytetrahydrofuran, 2,500 tons of polyfluoroethylene propylene and supporting tetrafluoroethylene, 150,000 tons of nitric acid/200,000 tons of ammonium nitrate, 200,000 tons of nitro compound fertilizer, 120,000 tons of sodium nitrate/sodium nitrite, a self-provided thermal island unit with an installed capacity of 50,000 kilowatts and an annual steam supply of 3.3 million tons, and a production line with an annual water production and supply capacity of 28 million tons.
