北京工业大学出版社有限责任公司（原北京工业大学出版社）成立于1987年12月，是由北京市新闻出版局主管，北京工业大学主办的北京市属大学出版社。出版社成立以来，一贯坚持党的出版方针和大学出版社的办社宗旨，坚持为教学科研服务，为社会主义精神文明建设服务的方向，立足高校，面向社会，共出版大中专教材、学术理论专著、计算机和其它科技图书、外语类图书、工具书、大众读物等近万种。其中有100余种图书分获“中国图书奖”、“国家教委理论学术著作奖”、“中国大学出版社图书奖”和“北京市优秀图书奖”等各种奖项。特别是一批实用类科技图书和工具书的出版，体现了理论性和实用性在较高层次结合的鲜明的特点，受到了社会各界的好评，在全国产生了一定的影响，为我国经济建设、科技发展和出版事业的繁荣作出了贡献。为此，中宣部和国家新闻出版总署曾连续两次评定授予了北京工业大学出版社“全国良好出版社”称号。
