营口市妇幼保健院前身系市妇幼保健站成立于1953年，1981年改建为市妇幼保健所，1993年由所建院，被评为妇幼保健二级甲等医院。几经搬迁，目前坐落于营口市站前区建设街89号，南临市中心血站，东临市中医院和营口东升商业区。 占地面积3000平方米，业务用房2400平方米，其中检验室220平方米。保健院现有在职工作人员49人，其中业务人员42人，包括正高级职称2人、副高9人、中级技术职称人员16人。设有婚前保健、围产保健、妇女保健、儿童保健、基层保健、统计信息、妇科、儿科、新生儿遗传疾病治疗等临床保健科室10个，医技科室4个，同时设有营口市新生儿疾病筛查中心。拥有半自动生化检测仪、酶标仪、时间分辨免疫荧光分析仪、自动洗板机、微量元素检测仪等较为先进检验设备，可为广大群众做准确的化验检测，是营口地区妇幼保健业务指导中心。
