Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Chalco") was registered and established in the People's Republic of China on September 10, 2001. Its controlling shareholder is Aluminum Corporation of China Group. Chalco is a leading enterprise in China's non-ferrous metal industry, with comprehensive strength ranking among the forefront of the global aluminum industry. It is also the first large-scale enterprise in China's aluminum industry to integrate resource exploration and mining of bauxite, coal, and other resources; production, sales, and technology research & development of alumina, primary aluminum, and aluminum alloy products; international trade; logistics industry; thermal power generation, and new energy power generation. It currently has 39 subsidiaries, including 18 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 21 holding subsidiaries. Chalco's shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (ticker: ACH), The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (ticker: 2600), and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (ticker: 601600).
