Shenzhen Qingyuan Medical Devices Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995. It is a Class III medical device manufacturer and a high-tech enterprise, and was rated by the Guangdong Provincial Food and Drug Administration as a "Guangdong Province Quality Credit Class A Medical Device Manufacturer" for three consecutive years (2018-2020) (accounting for only 1.2% of the industry). It was originally a subsidiary of Shenzhen Lifestech Technology, responsible for the production and sales of cardiovascular medical devices. After new shareholders took over in 2015, the company underwent a strategic transformation and founded the open and mutually beneficial incubation platform focused on neurology—Qingyuan Innovation Laboratory (SYM-LAB).
The company is located in Meisheng Chuanggu Science and Technology Innovation Park, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, with nearly 3,300 square meters of office space and more than 1,000 square meters of Class 100,000 cleanroom. The workshop is equipped with a complete set of high-precision testing equipment and domestically advanced specialized physical, chemical, and biological laboratories. SYM-LAB upholds the company's spirit of independent innovation, has an efficient and advanced R&D team, and possesses more than 20 years of regulatory registration experience (CFDA, FDA, CE, and other multinational certification experience) and latex R&D experience. All incubated products belong to the field of neurology. To promote the development of high-performance balloon catheter products, the company has also specially established a latex R&D center to carry out in-depth R&D and innovative manufacturing of medical polymer materials. The company's core technology, latex balloons, has evolved from cardiovascular product applications to innovative products at the forefront of neurological medicine.
At present, the products that SYM-LAB has incubated include: disposable minimally invasive balloon catheter kit for neurosurgery (PBC), disposable balloon catheter kit for neurosurgery, disposable balloon drainage catheter, disposable dissector, cranial surgery head frame, medical integrated endoscopic camera system, tissue expander, etc. Through continuous innovation in R&D technology, the company has owned multiple independently developed product patents. Among them, the "disposable balloon catheter kit for neurosurgery" and the "disposable minimally invasive balloon catheter kit for neurosurgery (PBC)" obtained the first national registration certificates through the innovative channel, and both are patented products. The "disposable balloon catheter kit for neurosurgery" provides a brand-new surgical channel solution for neurosurgery; the "disposable minimally invasive balloon catheter kit for neurosurgery (PBC)", due to its minimally invasive, painless, safe, and effective characteristics, simplifies complexity for patients and brings doctors a new and effective treatment method. It is also the world's only dedicated PBC product; the mitral balloon dilation catheter was the first Class III sterile product CE certificate in South China issued by BSI, and it is also the only product in China to obtain CE continued certification.
The company's products and solutions, through cooperation with dozens of distributors across four continents—Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa—have benefited patients in more than 40 countries, including China. In the domestic market, the company's products cover hundreds of tertiary Grade A hospitals in China, including nationally renowned large medical institutions such as Beijing Tiantan Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, Aviation General Hospital of China Medical University, Chinese PLA General Hospital, Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University, and Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital.
