瞻岐社区卫生服务中心坐落在依山傍海的素有“鱼米之乡”的瞻岐镇镇中心。是由政府举办的非营利性公益事业单位，自1956年创办至今，已有50多年历史。是一所集医疗、预防、保健、健康教育、康复、计划生育指导为一体的综合性农村医疗机构。背负着人民大众防病治病、保障身体健康、大力振兴医疗卫生事业的光荣使命。中心占地面积为8397平方米，总建筑面积5747平方米，中心环境优美整洁，设施齐全，是市级环保医院、区级文明单位、平安医院、廉政文化建设示范点。中心现有卫生技术人员60人，其中副主任医师1名，中级中医执业医师1名，执业医师 13名，中级护士1名，注册护士11名，公共卫生执业医师1名，具有大专学历30名，本科学历 17名。
