湖北航特科技有限责任公司成立于1993年，位于荆门市经济开发区，隶属于中航工业特种飞行器研究所（605所），公司现已成为中国*大的摩托车盘式液压制动器生产基地、汽车件制动系统、汽车零部件铸造、模具设计制造及航空装备为一体的产业中心和环保催化器产业的研发制造中心。公司拥有年产360万套摩托车盘式液压制动器的生产能力，产销量位居全国*；建成了年产100万份各类车用的催化器生产线；形成了年产10000吨铝合金铸件的生产规模，具备了1000副模具设计与制造的生产能力。年销售收入达6亿元，产品出口到美国、日本、韩国、意大利、法国、印度等国际市场及一汽、神龙、广汽等国内知名企业。
公司现有员工1300余人，其中工程技术人员200余人，高级工程师40人，研究员10人。目前，公司投资12亿元在湖北省荆门市高新技术开发区组建了“湖北航特运输装备科技工业园”和“航特科技工业园”两大园区，至十二?五末将形成汽车、摩托车及航空产品为主的系列化产业链，年均产值将达40亿元，成为国际国内知名的现代化企业。
