陕西铁道工程勘察有限公司前身为始建于二十世纪五十年代的铁道部*勘察设计院第四勘察设计总队，原为铁道*勘察设计院下属的综合勘察单位。2005年铁一院实施主辅分离改制，更名为铁一院陕西铁道工程勘察院，2006年8月注册成立陕西铁道工程勘察有限公司，目前为铁一院集团的控股子公司。公司注册地位于陕西省西安市西一路26号，注册资金1200万元。主要从事工程勘察、工程测量、大地测量、航测外业、工程咨询及上述工程项目的工程总承包；岩土工程勘察、设计、检测、治理、咨询与上述业务相关的科技开发。
