The Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the CAS Design Institute), formerly the Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was founded in 1951. It is *an architectural design and research institution directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and holds Grade A qualifications for architectural engineering in the construction industry, Grade A qualifications for municipal public utilities (heating), and Grade B qualifications for urban and rural planning. At present, the company has a total of 612 employees, including 532 engineering and technical personnel (90 with senior professional titles or above, 122 intermediate technical personnel, 30 Class 1 registered architects, 19 Class 1 registered structural engineers, and 31 Class 1 registered engineers in water, heating, electricity, and thermal power).
