中物院成都科学技术发展中心成立于2012年，是中央编办批准设立的中物院二级事业法人单位。隶属于中国工程物理研究院，是院贯彻中央提出的经济建设与建设相统筹、走融合式发展道路的重要指示做出的重要部署。
成科中心内设5个机关部门、2个管理实体，拥有**科学研究、功能薄膜材料与器件项目等多个高水平科研团队，网络安全、自主可控等13个事业部。同时，作为四川省军民融合发展研究智库（四川省首批22个新型智库之一）的依托单位，设有智库办公室。
