Industrial Bank was established in August 1988 and is one of the first batch of joint-stock commercial banks approved by the State Council and the People's Bank of China. Its head office is located in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. On February 5, 2007, it was officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 601166), with a registered capital of 19.052 billion yuan.
