The company, formerly known as Guangzhou Linshui Water Supply Co., Ltd., was established in November 2003 with a registered capital of 246 million yuan. In March 2012, it became a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly established by Guangdong Water Supply Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., Guangdong Guangdong Water Supply Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Nansha Industrial and Chemical Investment Co., Ltd. The company consists of six departments: Administration and Human Resources, Production Technology, Finance and Planning, Engineering Management, Business, and Huangge Water Plant, with four business offices under the Business Department. As the designated water supply enterprise for Nansha District, Guangzhou, the company is responsible for the planning and construction of the entire district's water supply network and the provision of water for production and domestic use. After the establishment of the Nansha administrative district, in accordance with the district government's requirement for "unified planning, unified construction, and unified operation" of tap water, in June 2007, the company completed the integration of five water supply companies in Nansha, Huangge, Wanqingsha, Hengli, and Zhujiang Management Area. Meanwhile, the Huangge Water Plant was completed and trial-operated in October 2010, and officially began operation in December 2010. The plant is planned to have a total water supply capacity of 1 million cubic meters per day, with the first phase achieving a supply capacity of 200,000 cubic meters per day. Currently, the company has 38,629 water users, a total water supply pipeline network of 1,249.88 kilometers, covering an area of approximately 330 square kilometers, with an average daily water supply of 160,000 cubic meters. The company has initially established an integrated urban water supply service system covering production, supply, and sales.
Since its establishment, the company has deeply recognized the important mission it bears, and has effectively strengthened its sense of responsibility, crisis awareness, and opportunity awareness. It has always been committed to promoting scientific development, adhering to the scientific outlook on development to guide the overall water supply development, and continuously improving water quality, service quality, and management level. To ensure the safety of Nansha's water supply, improve water supply services, and guarantee water quality, the company has actively promoted the integration of water resources, renovation of water supply pipelines, pilot projects for rural water reform, construction of water quality laboratories, information system construction, metering system renovation, and household metering and billing. At the same time, it acquired 65 kilometers of water supply pipelines in Nansha District from Panyu Water Company and achieved full water supply to Longxue Island, greatly improving the investment environment in Nansha District and enabling significant development of the water supply cause.
