目前，用房面积2000平方米，现有在岗职工106人，其中高级职称18人。医疗业务科室及其设施设备比较齐全，配有彩超、生化、胃镜、CR、CT机等大型设备，全面的计算机信息化管理系统。核定床位60张，平均日门诊量600人次以上，其中夜急诊量180多人次，一直是周边乡镇区域内服务量*大的医疗机构，切实有效解决了当地老百姓应急就诊需求。
海城街道在温州与瑞安南线的中间地段，人口密集，经济发达，对医疗救治需求迫切。原于2002年由股份制卫生院申请立项[龙计基立（2002）33号]的新医院建设项目，总占地30亩，总投资3个多亿。*期工程占地面积20.8亩，已经投资300多万元，完成土地征用、垫方、围墙等前期工程，工程即将启动，建设期为三年。
