CCTEG Chongqing Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Research Institute"), affiliated with the central enterprise China Coal Technology & Engineering Group, is a wholly state-owned enterprise specializing in technical research, product development, manufacturing, sales, and scientific and technological business services in the fields of coal mine and industrial safety, environmental protection, etc. It has more than 2,400 on-duty employees, covers an area of over 1,000 mu, and has total assets of 3.3 billion yuan.
Chongqing Research Institute has a high-quality team of scientific, technological, and management talents, with more than 1,500 professional and technical personnel of various types, including 391 with senior professional and technical titles and 561 with intermediate professional and technical titles. Chongqing Research Institute is a degree-granting institution for doctoral degrees in Safety Science and Engineering and master's degrees in Mining Engineering and Safety Science and Engineering, with 40 doctoral students and 540 master's students.
Chongqing Research Institute is the supporting institution of the National Engineering Research Center for Coal Mine Safety Technology in the coal industry, and the affiliated unit of the National Coal Mine Dust Prevention and Ventilation Safety Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the National Mine Safety Metrology Station. It is mainly engaged in research and services in the fields of gas ventilation and fire prevention and extinguishing, dust environmental protection, industrial explosion prevention and isolation, geotechnical engineering, safety evaluation, quality inspection, etc., as well as product development, manufacturing, and operation in industrial fields such as safety instruments and meters, safety equipment, safety rescue, and engineering plastics.
Chongqing Research Institute has built the Asia-Pacific region's gas and dust explosion test gallery; mine dust, ventilation, and fire test galleries; and key laboratories for gas and coalbed methane development and utilization, high-pressure water jets, ventilation and fire prevention and extinguishing, safety production inspection and testing, mine safety monitoring and control systems, geophysical exploration and mine water hazard prevention and control, gas and coal dust explosion prevention and control technology, atmospheric environment treatment, and safety protection.
