Lanzhou Ketian Investment Holding Joint-stock Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ketian Holding") was established in January 2014 with a registered capital of RMB 300 million. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in environmentally friendly special polymer materials. Located in the Petrochemical Park of Lanzhou New Area, the company covers an area of 1,314 mu.
Ketian Holding has invested RMB 8 billion to build a water-based technology industrial park, mainly constructing projects such as 200,000 tons of water-based coatings supported by 40 million square meters of polyurethane insulation boards, 80 million meters of water-based synthetic leather, 200,000 tons of water-based resins, 1 million tons of functional water-absorbent resins, and a healthy home experience center. Ketian Holding has established subsidiaries including Lanzhou Ketian Water-based Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Ketian Environmental Protection and Energy-saving Technology Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Ketian New Materials Joint-stock Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Ketian Super Absorbent Resin Joint-stock Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Zhongke Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., and Ketian Healthy Home Experience Center to operate each project.
All products manufactured in the water-based technology industrial park are water-based series products, which are safe and non-toxic, and will replace traditional solvent-based products that harm the environment and are toxic to human health. In addition, the National 863 Program project undertaken by Hefei Ketian, the world's first water-based synthetic leather Baisi process technology, and the *functional water-absorbent resins developed in cooperation with the University of Science and Technology of China and the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will all be industrialized in the water-based technology industrial park. The Ketian Healthy Home Experience Center will serve as a bridge between the park and downstream customers, realizing innovative sales and cooperation models.
Ketian Water-based Technology Industrial Park is the first of its kind in China, which will fill the gap in the water-based polymer materials market in Northwest China, form a water-based industry chain, and enhance the equipment level of Lanzhou's chemical industry, bringing the technical level of the chemical industry in Northwest China to the top. By then, water-based resins and coatings will each account for 10% of the Northwest market, water-based synthetic leather will account for 5% of the domestic market, and functional water-absorbent resins will cover one ten-thousandth of the greening area in the West. Ketian Water-based Technology Industrial Park will promote the rapid and healthy development of China's water-based polymer materials industry.
