福塘小学所属长沙市望城区靖港镇中心学校，是一所历史悠久，环境优美小学，毗邻靖港古镇旅游景区，依畔湘江。截至去年，区政府为我们学校专门新砌的教学楼及教师住宿楼已施工完毕，完善的住宿条件为居住较远的教师们免去了后顾之优，而且这里的学生纯朴而又活泼可爱，让人体验到身为教师的幸福与快乐感受。
