HanSight was founded in 2014 and is China's first big data security company. With the philosophy of "data-driven security," we are committed to using big data technology to help enterprises solve complex and fragmented information security problems. We believe that traditional defense-centric security strategies are outdated, and that information security is becoming a big data analytics problem, where large-scale security data needs to be effectively correlated, analyzed, and mined. In 2017, HanSight became one of the "Cybersecurity Global 500" companies published by US-based Cybersecurity Ventures.
The core founding team of HanSight comes from large multinational companies such as Trend Micro, Microsoft, and Oracle, and the team holds 18 core global security patents. Through its proprietary machine learning engine and data processing engine, HanSight helps customers build next-generation security intelligence analysis platforms that integrate various logs, network traffic, and user behavior data to discover unknown attack threats, protect internal data assets, and defend against malicious transaction fraud, among other things.
Currently, HanSight has dozens of customers, including leading enterprises and key government departments such as China Merchants Bank, China Pacific Insurance, WuXi AppTec, the Big Data Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Beijing Gas, and public security systems. In addition, it has established partnerships with well-known enterprises and institutions such as the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, AsiaInfo, Huawei, Hanber, Digital China, Tsinghua University, and US-based Hortonworks.
In 2017, HanSight completed a Series B financing round of RMB 100 million, with investors including the CAS Investment Management Co., Ltd. under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, IDG Capital, China's first venture capital institution, and Nanjing Gaoke, a listed company on the A-share market.
