Chongqing Qijiang Aikang Rehabilitation Hospital is a public-private, non-profit medical institution, and a rehabilitation specialty hospital integrating healthcare, prevention, rehabilitation, treatment, and scientific research. It is located in the central area of Qijiang District, Chongqing (i.e., the Qijiang District Disabled Persons' Federation Building). The hospital is the first non-profit specialty hospital in the Qijiang area focusing on rehabilitation. Currently, it has 100 beds and offers departments including Rehabilitation Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Stomatology, Anesthesiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Preventive Healthcare, Clinical Laboratory, and Medical Imaging. It is equipped with a range of cutting-edge high-tech advanced equipment, such as a South Korea-imported digital dual-energy X-ray bone densitometer (the first in Qijiang District), air wave pressure therapy devices, a US-imported Kodak computed radiography (CR) system, a 500mA dual-table dual-tube X-ray machine, Shanghai Nuocheng surface electromyography and EMG biofeedback devices, 3D color ultrasound, fully automated biochemical analyzers, bone density therapy devices, computerized constant-temperature wax therapy devices, high-frequency therapy devices, and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation devices, among other advanced rehabilitation physiotherapy equipment. It provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, traditional rehabilitation, and exercise therapy, and has established departments for exercise, balance function, cognitive function, cognitive ability assessment, occupational and activities of daily living assessment, neuroelectrophysiological examination, and hearing and vision screening.
