张掖市中医医院是集医疗、预防、保健、康复、科研教学为一体、中医特色优势明显的二级甲等中医医院。现占地面积1.4万平方米，现有业务用房面积18000平方米，床位编制260张，现有职工212人，其中专业技术人员191名，高级职称专业技术人员18名，中级职称专业技术人员67名。医院设有内、外、妇、骨伤、疼痛、康复、针灸、糖尿病、肛肠、皮肤、口腔等22个中西医临床专业科室和较完备的医技检查科室，其中疼痛科和糖尿病专科为省级中医药重点专科，骨伤科和针灸科为市级中医药重点专科。医院已基本形成了“院有专科，科有专病，人有专长”的中医药服务格局。
