扬州港口污泥发电有限公司位于京杭大运河与长江交汇口，占地面积300亩，配备2台130t/h高温高压循环流化床锅炉和2台24MW抽凝式汽轮发电机组。两台机组相继于2004年4月份投入商业运行并正式对外供汽。年供电能力4亿千瓦时、供热能力200万GJ，*大供汽能力160T/t，出口端供汽压力0.98MPa、温度200℃以上。
作为开发园区*的热源厂，公司担负着对园区集中供热的任务。目前一期热力管网已建成供热管道逾30公里，热网管线以热电厂为中心向东、西、北叁个方向延伸，涵盖港口工业园、出口加工区、邗江南园等区域，供热半径10公里以上。 作为中外合资的新型热电企业，公司十分重视热电厂硬件设施的投入，为保证环保水平，配置了先进的四电场电除尘设备，除尘效率达到99.99%。
