Zhao Shicheng (David Zhao) is the founder and CEO of Shangpin.com, as well as the founder of Yazuo, the initiator of Fashion Run, an English columnist for BoF, and a brand ambassador for ROCKPORT shoes in the United States. In October 2015, he participated in the reality show "Fashion New Wear" on Dragon TV. Zhao Shicheng graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a master's degree and was once employed by a major domestic financial institution. In 1999, he joined HP China. After going abroad in 2000, he held senior management positions at well-known listed companies in the United States*, among others. After returning to China in 2005, he successively founded Yingtianxun, Yazuo, and Shangpin.com. Among these, Shangpin.com has received investments from top VC/PE firms such as Lei Jun, Morningside Venture Capital, Chengwei Capital, and Hillhouse Capital, while Yazuo secured a Series C strategic investment of several hundred million RMB from Ant Financial.
