Shenzhen Gongkan Geotechnical Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1983 and was reorganized from the Hydrogeological Unit of the Capital Construction Engineering Corps. It was originally the 'Geotechnical Engineering Department of Shenzhen Engineering Geological Survey Company'. In 1991, with the approval of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, 'Shenzhen Huanyu Geotechnical Engineering Company' was established, and in 1996 it was restructured into 'Shenzhen Gongkan Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd.'. The company currently has a registered capital of 108.25 million yuan. Since 2005, it has been rated AAA credit grade, with an annual output value exceeding one billion yuan. The company has been awarded Shenzhen's 'Civilized Enterprise' and 'Contract-honoring and Credit-worthy Enterprise'. The company passed ISO9001 quality management system certification in 2001 and passed the three-in-one certification of quality, environment, and occupational health and safety management systems in 2004. Among them, 'Geotechnical Engineering Survey and Foundation Pit Support Design for SEG Plaza Building' won the National Gold Award; 'Geotechnical Engineering Survey, Reclamation and Foundation Treatment Design for the First-line Port Area of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Western Corridor' won the National Silver Award; 'Basement Anti-floating Anchor Engineering for the Clubhouse of Shenzhen OCT Splendid Garden' and others won the Second Prize for Excellent Engineering from the Ministry of Construction; 'Geotechnical Engineering Survey and Slope Support Design for the Slope, Tank Body and Site of the Guangdong LNG Receiving Station' and 'Geotechnical Engineering Survey and Foundation Treatment Design for the Shenzhen Longgang Cultural Center' and others won the Third Prize for Excellent Engineering from the Ministry of Construction.
