桂林理工大学博文管理学院成立于2002年4月，是教育部批准设立的以新机制创办的独立学院，是独立设置的全日制本科普通高校。校园位于桂林市雁山区教育园区内，占地600余亩，规划总建筑面积35万平方米，教学、生活、运动的设施齐全，环境优雅。学院现有专任教师384人，其中具有高级职称的166人，具有硕士及以上学位专任教师共219人，在校生近5500人，计划2014年发展为万人规模。
