Xiangyang NTN Yulon Drive System Co., Ltd. is a joint venture invested by NTN Corporation of Japan and Yulon Motor Group of Taiwan, China. It is located on Shenzhen Avenue in the Shenzhen Industrial Park of the rapidly developing Xiangyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, adjacent to Xiangyang Liuji Airport, 3 kilometers from the airport. The company was officially established on January 8, 2014 in the Xiangyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with a total investment of USD 67.38 million, registered capital of USD 34 million, a total land area of 100 mu, and a planned annual production capacity of 4.8 million constant velocity universal joints.
Constant velocity universal joints are important components in automobile drive systems. Their function is to transmit engine power from the gearbox to the driving wheels of the vehicle, ensuring high-speed driving of the vehicle.
NTN Corporation of Japan is one of the world's comprehensive precision machinery manufacturing* companies, mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of various bearings, constant velocity universal joints, precision machinery equipment and other products. It is the world's second-largest manufacturer of constant velocity universal joints. Yulon Group was founded in 1951 and is one of the top 100 private enterprises in Taiwan, China. In Taiwan, China, it is known as the "Auto King." The two parties established Guangzhou NTN Yulon Drive System Co., Ltd. in 2002 as a joint venture to produce constant velocity universal joints. Its main customers include Dongfeng Nissan, Beijing Hyundai, FAW Car, Shanghai GM, Changan Ford, Soueast Motor, GAC Mitsubishi, etc. At present, its production capacity is already saturated. In order to get closer to and better serve customers in Central and North China, reduce logistics costs, strive for a larger market share, and at the same time cooperate with the expansion of new models and production capacity at the Xiangyang plant and Zhengzhou plant of its main customer Dongfeng Nissan, it established a second plant in Xiangyang, Hubei, "Xiangyang NTN Yulon Drive System Co., Ltd.," which officially began mass production and delivery in April 2015.
