It still follows a family-owned management model, ensuring the stability of the enterprise and the continuity of products and services. With over 60 years of experience in injection molding machine manufacturing, ENGEL has become one of the industry's leading manufacturers. Currently, it has eight production plants worldwide, located in Europe, Asia (Korea/Pyungtaek, China/Shanghai), and America/York, etc. Subsidiaries are spread across more than 20 countries, with representative offices in over 70 countries globally.
This company is the eighth ENGEL Group plant worldwide. Phase I was officially opened on May 19, 2007, with over 8,000 square meters of factory space dedicated to parts manufacturing and assembly for the DUO series large injection molding machines, and 1,000 square meters of modern offices providing ample space for sales, after-sales service, and training. The Phase II and III expansion was completed on April 20, 2012, doubling the factory area to over 21,000 square meters.

ENGEL Shanghai is the eighth production facility of the ENGEL group worldwide. The first phase was opened on May 19, 2009, and has a production floor space of over 8,000 m² for the manufacturing and assembly of machine components for the large-scale Duo series in Shanghai. 1,000 m² of modern offices provide ample space for sales, service, and training. The second phase was completed on April 20, 2012, doubling the capacity. The extension is about 21,000 m².
