Mitsui Chemicals Functional Composites (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. of Japan, established in October 2012. Based on the Mitsui Chemicals Group's policy to expand its functional resin business in China, we will produce high-quality products with unique compounding technologies in the future, provide high-quality services, and contribute to improving the living standards of China and the well-being of our employees.

Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., as the parent company of the group, has been expanding its business operations in China since 1973 when it transferred PP (polypropylene) technology to Beijing Yanshan. By 2011, Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. had implemented a total of 35 technology transfers to chemical enterprises in China, making significant contributions to the development of China's chemical industry.

Mitsui Chemicals Functional Composites (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is located in the Second Industrial Park of Jinshan District, Shanghai. There is a company shuttle bus within Jinshan District; there is also a shuttle bus at the North Square of Xinzhuang Metro Station in the city direction. You can also take Line 22 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jinshanwei Station (the direct train takes about 35 minutes) and then transfer to the company shuttle bus.
