Delfingen Group was founded in 1954 and grew in the automotive industry as a manufacturer of automotive wiring harness protection, fasteners, and vehicle fluid lines. The group was listed on the Euronext exchange in Europe in 1996 (FR0000054132-DELF); in 1998, it began to expand into the American market and has since become a leading automotive parts supplier in North America; in 2000, Delfingen opened its first factory in Asia in the Philippines, supplying all Southeast Asian wiring harness manufacturers.
In 2010, Delfingen opened its first factory in China in Wuhan, and subsequently established factories and logistics points in Hebi, Henan, Chongqing, and Changchun, and set up a sales office in Shanghai.
