Changjiang Automobile Holding is a management center established through merger and reorganization by Wuzu Electric Vehicle (Group), leveraging its strong technical R&D strength and substantial financial resources. Its subsidiary, Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile Co., Ltd., has injected the technology of a new forward-designed pure electric vehicle series accumulated over years of dedicated R&D by Jianshi Automobile, and has implemented an electric vehicle industrialization project——building a new core factory for electric vehicles in Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hangzhou. The new factory covers a total area of approximately 1,200 mu, with a total project investment of 5.1 billion yuan, constructed in two phases. It will build stamping, welding, painting, final assembly, and electronic control production facilities of five internationally advanced processes, as well as testing lines and a technical center, to high standards and specifications. The first phase has a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, with a production building area of approximately 300,000 square meters, and will form a production capacity of 100,000 pure electric vehicles. The goal is to build Changjiang Automobile into a model enterprise for large-scale production and operation of electric vehicles in China.
